Which SMS type should I use for order and payment alerts?

Use transactional SMS. It is meant for service messages to your existing customers and is delivered to DND numbers around the clock, so an order confirmation or payment alert always reaches the customer.

Why are my promotional SMS not reaching some numbers?

Promotional routes are scrubbed against the national DND registry, so numbers on DND are filtered out. We only deduct credits for numbers that are actually attempted, and promotional delivery is restricted to the 9 AM to 9 PM window under TRAI rules.

How long does DLT header and template approval take?

A sender ID (header) is usually approved within 24 to 48 hours and templates within 24 hours, provided the content matches the category you registered. We review your drafts first so they do not get rejected for variable or wording mistakes.

Can I attach a PDF, image or link to an SMS?

Plain SMS cannot carry a file, but our smart SMS feature hosts your PDF, image, catalogue or form on a short tracked link that opens instantly on any phone. You see who opened it, which turns a one-way SMS into a measurable campaign. RCS messaging adds rich cards and buttons natively on supported Android handsets.

Do you provide an SMS API and does it work with my platform?

What happens to unused SMS credits?

SMS credits carry a one-year validity from the date of purchase and are consumed as you send. Unused credits stay in your account until that validity ends and can be topped up at any time.
