WhatsApp Business API pricing in India
WhatsApp is billed in two parts: our platform fee for the panel, chatbot and support, and Meta's own per-conversation charge, which we pass through at cost with no markup.
Every rate, slab by slab.
Per-unit rates are quoted excluding GST, as is standard in the industry. The column marked You pay is the real amount including 18% GST, worked out for each slab so you are not doing the arithmetic yourself.
| Plan | You pay (incl. GST) | Billing | Base amount | What is included |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| WhatsApp Starter | ₹2,359 | per month | ₹1,999 + GST | API + shared inbox, 3 agents, broadcast campaigns |
| WhatsApp Growth | ₹4,719 | per month | ₹3,999 + GST | Unlimited agents, no-code chatbot, CRM integration |
| WhatsApp Enterprise | ₹9,439 | per month | ₹7,999 + GST | Flows, multi-number, dedicated manager, SLA |
| Conversation type | Used for | How it is billed |
|---|---|---|
| Marketing | Offers, launches, re-engagement | Billed at Meta's published India rate, at cost |
| Utility | Order, payment, appointment updates | Billed at Meta's published India rate, at cost |
| Authentication | Login and verification codes | Billed at Meta's published India rate, at cost |
| Service | Customer-initiated conversations | First 1,000 per month free, then at Meta's rate |
A conversation is a 24-hour window, not a single message. Meta revises these rates periodically; we bill them through unchanged.
The part most rate cards leave out.
We do not print a fixed per-message WhatsApp price, and you should be suspicious of anybody who does. Meta sets the conversation rate per country and per category and revises it periodically, so a permanent printed rate is either marked up to absorb the changes or about to become wrong. What we can commit to in writing is the platform fee, and that Meta's charge reaches you unchanged.
A conversation is a rolling 24-hour window rather than a single message, which usually works in your favour: a chatbot exchange of fifteen messages inside a day is one conversation. Customer-initiated service conversations are free for the first thousand each month, so a support-led use case can be remarkably cheap to run.

Pricing questions, no fine print.
How is the WhatsApp Business API priced?
In two parts. Our platform fee covers the panel, the chatbot builder, agents and support, starting at Rs 1,999 a month. Meta charges separately per 24-hour conversation by category — marketing, utility, authentication or service — and we pass that through at cost.
Why do you not publish a per-message WhatsApp rate?
Because Meta sets it per country and category and changes it from time to time. Any provider printing a fixed permanent WhatsApp rate is either marking it up or about to change it. Send us your expected conversation mix and we will put the current rates plus our fee in writing the same day.
What counts as one conversation?
A 24-hour window with a customer, not a single message. Fifteen messages back and forth inside that window is one billable conversation, which is why chatbot-heavy use cases are cheaper than people expect.
Are there really free WhatsApp conversations?
Yes. Service conversations started by the customer are free for the first 1,000 a month under Meta's current terms. Marketing, utility and authentication conversations are chargeable from the first one.
Is there a setup fee for the WhatsApp Business API?
No. Account setup, Meta Business verification and the green-tick application are included in onboarding. Green tick itself is granted by Meta on brand notability and cannot be bought from any provider.
